MacBook Pro Expected Features

Apple will introduce $799 MacBook Pro in third quarter of this year. The MacBook Pro is equipped with features expecting to compete strongly against the the upcoming second wave of ultrabooks. The upcoming MacBook is ultra-thin and light weight.

Like iPad 3 (New iPad), 15-inch MacBook will support retina display and users can switch between several Retina resolution modes. The design is so thin that it cannot have optical drive. Instead of eject button, there will be a power button on the keyboard. Ethernet port is expected to be replaced by an extra Thunderbolt port. Unlike previous Mac, the upcoming design will support USB 3.0 and latest Ivy Bridge processors from Intel.

Apple has introduced latest version of OS X Lion called OS X Lion 10.7.4 featuring some improvements both in client and server forms. Apple’s OS X Lion 10.7.4 features stability, compatibility and security. The new version also has an updated Safari.

The new OS X Lion fixes the FileVault bug. It will resolve the login issue as previously, in some cases your login credentials out in the open. The updated Safari 5.1.6 is enriched with more stability. The new X Lion also features better Internet sharing of PPPoE connections, RAW image compatibility for additional digital cameras etc.

Facial recognition is modern and very safe technology to unlock computing and communication systems. Many of the laptops, android-smartphones have the facial recognition feature but iOS wasn’t. However, FaceVault is an iOS facial recognition app designed by Robert Neagu. The App is compatible with Apple devices having iOS 5.0 or later.

FaceVautl works similar to android face unlock system but there is key difference between both. The app is developed based on a very modern face recognition algorithm called Eigenface algorithm. The app uses front facing camera of the iDevices to unlock the screen. If the FaceVault fails you will be directed to another screen automatically where you can unlock with pattern-based code. Before March-April, there was no threat of Trojan in Mac’s and there were hardly any Trojan Effected Mac. However, within couple months over 650,000 Mac computers are hit by nasty FlashBack Trojan. The numbers are increasing rapidly because another serious Trojan called Backdoor.OSX.SabPub.a is badly effecting Mac computers.

The new and more savior Trojan is widely effecting Mac computers through Java. SabPub harms when people open Email messages contain suspicious directing links.It has more potential to reach million of Mac computers.

Chief security expert of Kaspersky Lab, Alex Gostev said, “The Flashback and the SabPub Trojans are totally different. SabPub is classic backdoor Trojan, so it opens full access to a victim’s system for attackers. Flashback and its known variants is downloader and clickjacking bot, which means it conducts click fraud scam by hijacking people’s search engine results inside their web browsers.”

Alex Gostev said, “The latest version of the SabPub Trojan can infect more people than previous versions of this malware, which appeared earlier this year. In February, SabPub was exploiting a Microsoft Word vulnerability, which was fixed long time ago. The latest version of SabPub uses the Java exploit to spread infection in a more effective way because the Java exploit is delivered via a drive by download, which occurs when people click on URLs with malware via email.”
