China’s solar industry is leading the world right now. World largest solar company is also in China named Suntech Power. Suntech Power manufactures solar cells and solar panels. They are the big solar equipment traders of the time.

The solar equipment is of high tech-quality. Wafers are treated in a more efficient way to absorb more sun light. The wafers are placed in a hot furnace filled with phosphorous. Then they are cleaned to generate electricity from light.

Electrical contacts in the form of metal lines are added to the surface of solar cells. Then These solar cells are  sorted out manually. The sorted cells are then exposed to brief flash light. Their response is measured and a robot selects best performed solar cells.

Solar cells are soldered electrically to get solar panels. As machines break more cells so this step is worked out by workers.Then cells are soldered in string. then these string are put together and a complete solar panel results.

The cell strings are placed over a light box. When they join cell strings, protective sheets and glass cover is used.

Now these solar panels are tested under bright ultraviolet light. The test will show the efficiency of the solar panels. After satisfactory tests, solar panels are released to the consumers.
