The Ultimate Gaming, its virtual reality

Belive me or not, our world is moving towards virtual reality. You might agree that most of the technological innovations in Science get their ideas from films. Have you seen the movie AVATER ? But here I am not going to comment on movie, what is worth noting is the integration of virtual reality in video games.

Where are the old game controllers that have wire connecting them with consols. Wii has given a new turn to this by getting players more physically involved in games they play. As everyone loves to put aside the usual display screens and actually get into the World of Warcraft. Students at National University of Singapore (NUS) came up with a system that allows users to immerse themselves into the game the are playing with the help of a bio sensor. They setup a room packed with such sensors that track players movement and experimented the system with the game named Death Match. It was an excellent experience for the player, allowing him ducking, dodging and jumping with nice sound effects.

Bio sensors are still in their development phase and will allow computers to interpret human nerve and muscale activity. These bio sensors can be directly attached to skin or integrated it gloves or bodysuits.

Some technology experts also predict that Internet will also grow in to a 3D virtual space where users will navigate through different virtual landscapes to access information and entertainment. So in future we might think of google as a virtual reality search engine.
