By 2020 Intel will turn you into a cyborg

You might have heard about Brain Computer Interaction, if not watch video in my post. Intel after establishing its rule in chip industry, is committed to give a giant leap to the way people interact with computers. Intel with its slogan “Intel Inside” is now working on a project to put this equally true not only for computer machines but also for almost all computer users. It will no doubt bring a new age of cyborgs, Intel is expecting it to be in 2020.

As most of inventions in Science and Technology are inspired by some Holywood movies, it seems Matrix or some other showed new path to Intel. With lot of changes in computer and gadget industries, the way people interact with computers is the same, but Intel is working to free you from traditional KeyBoards, Mouse, Tuch-Pads and other input devices, not late than 2020. A team of researchers in Intel Lab at Pittsburgh is taking Brain computer Interaction to new horizon as they are looking for new ways to use Human Brain Waves for  instructing computers. The brain waves would be controlled with Intel-developed sensors implanted in people’s brains. Plenty of other research teams are also working in this field as Toyota motors recently demonstrated a WheelChair  controlled by brain waves and University of Utah has came up with wireless brain transmitter that allows a monkey to control its robotic arm (see in my post). But what Intel has new about this technology is some thing different, see video below.

Turning brain waves into real input devices requires complex working with these waves and neurons, but 2020 seems a resonable time for chip gaint to operate computers, television sets and cell phones with brain and bring this new age of cyborgs.
