Siri is causing a sensation among the owners of the new iPhone 4s, making fun with smart answers and solutions about everything that is asked. However there is a small problem with everyone’s favorite wizard, and it exposes your phone to strangers, even when it is blocked. How could you do that to us, Siri?

The factory settings allow users to activate Siri even when the iPhone 4s is blocked, which is very good when it’s you who use your phone. But CNET reported that if a stranger has access to your phone then it can be very dangerous because they can meet your appointment calendar and know what you have and where you are with lot of other personal information. They can also send and receive messages through Siri.

But the good news is that this can be disabled by blocking options and password. Just deactivate Siri, you can continue using without problem but not while your phone is locked. And while you do not have to make a choice between security and convenience, especially if you have some dark secret that you want to hide
