It’s the time to replace fluorescent light bulbs by some other lighting source. A company named “Nth Degree Technologies” has developed glowing sheet of paper using LED’s for this purpose with size of the light 2/4 square foot. Company is confident that, this glowing sheet will be the best alternate for the fluorescent light bulbs.

Novel(unusual) designs and fixtures are used. Because of the printing process one could vary the brightness as well as color of the light.
Millions of tiny LEDs were produced after cutting a wafer of gallium nitride then resin and binder were used to mix them up. Standard screen printers were used to deposit “LEDs ink” over the surface.
3 additional layers are used for Silver ink layer for back electrical contact, phosphors layer to change the color while an insulating layer is used to overcome short circuit problem.
They emit 20 lumens per watt. It shows their efficiency.
