Its a nightmare if we lose our mobile device, especially if you’re happy with its features and have a lot of  useful data and apps stored in it. In the case of Android , we have tools that, although we can not recover the same device, but we can do a number of things to our lost android device so that our important data may not get into the wrong hands.

AndroidLost is the answer as it only asks you to identify with your Google account for a series of activities such as monitoring through a map , locking or unlocking of the device, remote wipe of SD card, etc..

One of the interesting things is that we can install other apps remotely, thanks to Android Market, we can use other features offered by this service.

This seems to be the best available solution if you loose your android smart phone but hopefully will not have to ever use.
