Internet is the big giant in the World of socialization, business, technology and gaming. Nothing is possible online without Internet. Yahoo, Facebook, Skype and many more seems useless services unless you find Internet for them. But, you ever think who invented Internet first time and when? You will be surprised to know that in 1934, Paul Otlet, first time proposed the theory of Internet. Paul Otlet was a Belgian information expert.
Vinton Cerf invented fundamental technology of Internet called TCP/IP (a system for routing packets of data). On the behalf of his fundamental invention he is known as “Father of the Internet”. If we want to point out some specific group of people who played their role in the practical invention of Internet then without any doubt, we may say Cerf and colleagues.
But according to Alex Wright – a panel member at World Science Festival in New York City, in 1934, Paul Otlet introduced the basic concepts of Internet when he realized that the wires and radio waves can be used to bring knowledge at his home rather then just chatter and entertainment. He introduced Radiated Library vision – make a call to the library and ask for access to information., probably it shaped the current Internet.
