Fed up with how slow is iTunes to manage our music? MusicBee is an excellent alternative to Apple’s player even offers synchronization with iPhones and iPod Touches (in addition to almost any type of player).

Besides being a pretty light implementation, MusicBee is a fairly complete package. We have our music library with an interface similar to that of SongBird (to choose genre, artist, album and track listings), allows us to manage the song tags and auto-tag them based on name, rip CDs, and much, much more.

In addition to these functions, we can also create Smart Playlists (one of my favorite features of iTunes). For example, we can create a playlist that only take the 30 Beatles songs, including 1964-1968, with four stars (or more) and lasting more than 2:20.

So why wait? Bee Music is a great alternative. If you have an iPhone or iPod Touch, iTunes still probably need to handle the videos, songs purchased and downloaded applications, but when it comes to music, MusicBee is a great option.
