Video group chat feature is the high level and will require you to pay. However, this feature is free until the full version was released last year. Regular video chat feature will continue to be free. Skype has not made the package price for new features. However, compared with many competitors, Skype typically has relatively cheap package. Hopefully, the price for group video chat feature is also not expensive.

Skatter Tech had tried the beta and see both video and audio quality are very good. According Skatter Tech, the program is slightly faulty, users sometimes without dropping or shock video and audio department. Hopefully the full version will be better.

To use Skype Group Video Chat:

-Download new beta. Everyone involved must use the video chat group new beta

-Start a conversation and click the Add button to invite others into the conversation

-Click the Video Call (Video Call).

Currently, only beta for Windows users (Windows 2000 not supported), but Skype says that they are working on versions for Mac OS X and Linux.
