Passwords are very much essential for users these days because of Hacktivism. If you are not protecting your accounts probably you could be the next prey for hackers. There is a majority of users protecting their accounts with suitable passwords. But mind it, there are many common passwords can be guessed by the hackers or any other person pretty easily. A password management application provider SplashData released a list of worst passwords in 2011.
Here is the annual list provided by SplashData on common and worst passwords for 2011. Just don’t try these.
SplashData CEO Morgan Slain said, “Hackers can easily break into many accounts just by repeatedly trying common passwords. Even though people are encouraged to select secure, strong passwords, many people continue to choose weak, easy-to-guess ones, placing themselves at risk from fraud and identity theft.”
