AMAZING : Chinese Concept – The train that never stops

klsentral5 1 150x150 AMAZING : Chinese Concept The train that never stops Stopping and accelerating again at each station will waste both energy and time. But in this brilliant new Chinese train innovation No time is wasted- get on & off the bullet train without the train stopping. The bullet train is moving all the time.

A mere 5 min stop per station (elderly passengers cannot be hurried) will result in a total loss of 5 min x 30 stations or 2.5 hours of train journey time!

How it works (view the movie):

1. To board the train : The passengers at a station embarks onto to a connector cabin way before the train even arrives at the station. When the train arrives, it will not stop at all. It just slows down to pick up the connector cabin which will move with the train on the roof of the train.

While the train is still moving away from the station, those passengers will board the train from the connector cabin mounted on the train’s roof. After fully unloading all its passengers, the cabin connector cabin will be moved to the back of the train so that the next batch of outgoing passengers who want to alight at the next station will board the connector cabin at the rear of the train roof.

2. To get off the train: As stated after fully unloading all its passengers, the cabin connector cabin will be moved to the back of the train so that the next batch of outgoing passengers who want to alight at the next station will board the connector cabin at the rear of the train roof. When the train arrives at the next station, it will simply drop the whole connector cabin at the station itself and leave it behind at the station. The outgoing passengers can take their own time to disembark at the station while the train had already left. At the same time, the train will pick up the incoming embarking passengers on another connector cabin in the front part of the train’s roof. So the train will always drop one connector cabin at the rear of its roof and pick up a new connector cabin in the front part of the train’s roof at each station.

LOOKS SLEEK, BUT I WONDER IF IT FLIES OVER EARTHQUAKES. NOW IS CHINA READY TO BUY MY EARTHQUAKE SOLUTION YET. THEY ALL ORIGINATE IN ONE LOCATION, IN ONE COUNTRY WHERE IF MY SOLUTION IF IMPLEMENTED THERE, IT WILL DELETE ALL EARTHQUAKES AND QUAKE RELATED TSUNAMI’S. retired524@wildblue.net

Something similar was explained in the Russian book Physics for Entertainment like seriously a hundred years ago. Not even kidding.

lol michael i believe in you!

It’s a nice idea, but think about tube trains where some people might want to go one stop and others might want to go a dozen. Would you have to have separate carriages at every station to go to different places? The video shows that the carriages drop off the back at the next station – what about people who want to stay on?

Why must humanity hurry and scurry so? Is there not a more biologically compatible lifestyle available with all this new technology? Why must we continues to meet the Corporatist demands on ourselves just to survive? A better system of sharing riches more evenly distributing wealth would mean less unhealthy rushing about for each individual. We can now, through new technologies, decentralize much of what we do, eliminating the need for so much transportation. Better planning, incorporating modern technologies is in order

Stupid idea. What if someone on that train doesn’t want to get off at that stop but the next one, they must then wait for the next nonstop train to piggy back on.

    To the commentors above:

According to the video, the commuters are supposed to go down into the train. Not stay inside the connector cabin. They only go back up the connector cabin when they are going to reach the station they want to alight at.

    @ steve & MeYou32
    wow, you are fucking retarded.

    @ Uncle B
I’m an engineering major, set to start designing the worlds leading robotics in less than 2 years. Should I make the same as some liberal arts major dicking around in some crap-ass no where job? absolutely not. I work harder and contribute more to society and should be compensated accordingly. Equal wealth distribution is a failed concept. Just because a lot of peoples lives suck and they are unable or unwilling to change that does not mean everyone’s lives should suck.

This is an old(ish) concept but we do have the technology to implement it now! You could run a regenerative deceleration system to slow/accelerate the cabs increasing efficiency (rather than a brake which just disburses kinetic energy as heat).

    So stupid !
With 30 stations after 30 trains all cabins will be on the last station.

If they don’t want to get off at that stop, they shouldn’t get into the connector cabin just yet.  They should wait until they pass the stop before their stop, and then get into the connector cabin.  It’s no worse than if somebody just flat got off the train one stop early — yes, they’d have to wait for the next train.  So what?  Pay attention to what you’re doing, and you’ll get off at the right stop.  I suspect you didn’t read the article before you posted.  Glad you’re not in charge of evaluating new ideas for us all.

  • Stormi

People go back and forth between the connector cabins and the train itself, maybe through holes in the floor of the cabin and the roof of the train.  People don’t normally ride in the connector cabin — what did you think the train was for, just shuttling cabins around?  People ride in the train itself, and if they want to stay on the train, they stay on the train.  They don’t get into the connector cabin until they’re ready to get off.  If they’re just going from one stop to the next, then they stay in the connector cabin.  Did you read any of this or just watch the video?

  • Stormi

I don’t understand your objection at all.  Did you read the text *or* watch the video?  At every stop, a new connector cabin comes on with new passengers, and an old connector cabin slides off with disembarking passengers.  One for one.  With 30 stations after 30 trains (whatever that means,) there will be one connector cabin sitting on each train, and one connector cabin sitting at each station.
