This product has been Intel display at CES 2010 just few days but then recently the company announced officially. Drive SSD X25-V 40GB capacity will be introduced using memory chip MLC (multi-level cell) NAND Flash 34nm, communication SATA 3.0 Gb / s with a read speed of 170 MB per second and write 35 MB / sec .

Since its initial product line, Intel has two solid drives SSD is X25-M and X25-E. However, although the quality and speed of accessing data they do not have much to complain but the price was too high causes the most skin and the balance must be hand-chun. X25-V was born as a logical step for Intel to further expand their market shares.

X25-V is a new version with 40GB capacity at U.S. $ 130 U.S. and 100 euros in Europe.
