After its release Windows Phone 7 is gaining popularity and is seems to be most adoptive choice of all most all smart phone manufacturers, of course excluding Apple and Google. More and more companies like LG, HTC are joining hands with Microsoft to put Windows Phone 7 OS in their upcoming devices.
The OS have very rigid requirements on the hardware of the smart phones. In addition to a minimum 1 GHz processor, 8 GB internal memory and a 3.6-inch multitouch display, the phones must also have three function: namely, the “Home” – “Back” – and “Bing-search” button. And as far as I am aware, there should be only three, exactly three and no more. Now, the HD2 but has five buttons, and observers wondered whether HTC would thereby waive Windows 7. More likely it is that Microsoft is making concessions here, or an exception.
Two recent videos surfaced on the net and reportedly the Windows Phone 7 Show operating system live in action. (if videos display some error, please double click the videos and open in youtube, as youtube is upgrading to HTML5)
The phone is supposed to completely operational, and support features such as WLAN, GPS and Bluetooth. As you can readily see, however, the menu still not responding properly or directly to the inputs. This is attributed to the not yet 100 percent accurate current video drivers.
