It seems a habit of Microsoft Corp. Just as happened with Windows XP and Windows Vista, Windows 7 have several versions available. They have already been formalized by Microsoft and can comment on how they are treated. Are quite similar to those that were available with Windows Vista, but good here I leave a list of benefits and the features that will have at each one to let you know you’ll want to install on your computer.

- Windows 7 Home Basic (Emerging Markets only)
- Windows 7 Home Premium
- Windows 7 Pro
- Windows 7 Enterprise
- Windows 7 Ultimate
Usually in a home or personal use you’ll have to buy the Home Basic or Home Premium, but if you’re an advanced user with the Ultimate Pro or you’ll be better. The Enterprise is designed more for companies with large numbers of computers and users and to standardize their functionality.
In total, these 6 versions of Windows 7 to be available and here I leave a list of available functions in each so they can compare them.
This gives us a better picture of the different versions that we have available for purchase. Just as today I am using Windows 7 Pro, I think I’ll go over to the same versions of Windows 7 and hope to continue so things are doing pretty well. What I have are the prices of the licenses but surely going to be high as ever, this is the weakest point of Microsoft, will charge up to breathe.
