Smartphone is the modern and most convenient way to talk and convey. It is supposed to keep people connected to each other all time. However, sometimes because of over-use it becomes irritating, annoying and stressful.
A study has carried out at University of Worcester supporting the argument above. It says, “staying connected is stress-inducting for those that feel they can never sign off”.
It was noticed that students who worked for the this study constantly check, recheck and triple check for new notifications on their phones even though there were no new notifications at all. They always feel a chirp on their phones. Many of the participants brought phones to keep up with work on the go; however, they all started replies to emails, tweets, and Facebook messages all time all day long.
Its very necessary to keep the balance. Companies also trying work-life balance and wants to keep employees away from mobile distraction by switching off office emails server after office hours.
